Training Calendar
Volunteers are trained in the months preceding their summer projects. Activities focus on cultural sensitivity, organizational skills, Spanish language practice and lesson planning for in-country projects.
- September 1st-October 30, 2008: Classroom presentations
and information sessions
- November 1-December 15, 2008: Application submission, interviews and orientation sessions
- January 10-May 31, 2008: Bi-monthly training sessions and
two overnight retreats.
